IUCN World Parks Congress Event at Homebush Bay
How's this for a design brief:
'We want people to feel as if they're walking into a Russian National Park, the Kamchatka National Park in particular.'
As part of the IUCN World Parks Congress held at Homebush Bay, the Russian Protected Areas had a presentation and discussion focusing on the stunning landscapes of the Baikal and Kamchatka regions.
After looking at a few photos of the region and doing a bit of research we decided on a colour scheme of blue, white and green wildflower arrangements.
The spider chryssies and dusty miller really picked up on the lighter green to evoke the lower lying areas of the National Parks.
All they needed to add to the room was a bear or two!
(The event was held at the Hordern Room, Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush Bay)
