Baby Shower Flowers {Mint, Gold and Navy}

It was all fun and frivolity in the garden for Sugar Coated Mama's very own baby shower. It was quite the celebration after waiting over a decade for this little bub to come along. The colour palette featured mint, navy and gold, and we were given these wonderful over sized baby building blocks to fill with blooms. Kate from Sweet and Styled handmade each and every one, and they were such a great 'baby' touch while still keeping the garden party glam.

The flowers acted to soften the other colour elements of the baby shower. Jules concentrated on all white blooms with just a touch of dusty miller for foliage. Local white hydrangea from The Flowering Eucalyptus at Arcadia was the feature flower and we were lucky being late February that it was still available. Because beautiful summery hydrangea drinks up so much water we had to ensure they were very well topped up all the time. This required placing a ceramic pot inside the timber boxes to contain all the water.

For Sugar Coated Mama's baby shower we used the following floral ingredients:

White Hydeangea
Dusty Miller
Dahlias
White Lisianthus
Garden Roses
White Stock

Sarah, we wish you all the best!
